About the event
Studies show that access to books and frequent practice and exposure to reading are essential for children’s literacy development and success in school, but many low-income families have few, if any, children’s books in their homes. By providing these resources, 12 Books strives to give disadvantaged children a greater chance to succeed.
- We will be sorting and packing boxes of books to be used in the Mesa Public Schools FREE book distribution events held throughout the year.
- No skills or equipment required!
- You are welcome to invite family to join us - we will meet at the Mesa United Way on University (see address in this invite)!
- Please RSVP in your Google calendar invite YES or NO by Friday, February 17th!
